Access hydraulic tank in jcb 801.4

Hi can anyone help? I'm wanting to replace hydraulic filter. I have removed cover plate where electrics are to right of seat and can see hydraulic entry. Howeve I can't remove black plastic cap which is about ten cm in diameter. Is it pop off or twist? Any tips for removing it before I remove the remaining pieces of skin from my hand? Thanks, paddy

My 8018 has a gaps in the top kinda hard to explain but you can use the side of a spanner to turn the cap.
