either the top boom and rock breaker slice which are side by side appear to be giving trouble not sure which one so i'm looking for the two slices or complete valve block

IIRC the Aux went to the block before the filter .. so most likely that .. but the dipper got most use ofcourse under full power.. but I havent seen one of those wear out ? .. Garry just listed the kit , I still have it on the shelf ... if you want the whole thing the £numbers could be chunky
on the up side .. a lot of the slices are the same,.. so could do several other services if you wanted to sell them on ?

They are silly money .. but not only that , they are ex Japan and order only AFAIK .. so you could wait long enough to get one.. Its the same with track motor failures .. even if your machine is only worth 'X' relatively speaking ... it aint going no where unless all the vital bits work, and is worthless without them.

In trying to save you a few bob which is my mantra .. why are the old units not serviceable ? is the valve body its self worn, because you could still get a new spool for the old ones?

basically we thought it was the seals and when it was split a bit of grit or something came out.we redid all the seals but no good same problem. the man who did the seals went through it all and has it down to one of the two slices but which one???? if i spent the big bucks on one slice it could be the other one. so i turned to the computer and after along time searching i found yourself, so if the full chest wasnt rediculous money i would get it and you always have spares, like i said i like the machine, cheap to run and badly missed around here.
