Thats a good teaser Stock .. I did some research on a couple of nights, but I give in .. the square end caps .. the cab on the left .. when many earlier machines were on the right.. Ive found others with the same drive hubs, but not the same upperstructure, and certainly not the Semi Z linkage on the boom ? .. It has Hymac paint, but the counterweight says otherwise, and theres j..u..s..t. not enough showing to give it away, ... if I wasnt busy I'd hunt it down .. I'll leave you to divulge when ready
Go on give us a clue then .. is the first letter definately an O ? .. or is it a G and is the counterweight correct ? and tell me its not some mad Irish one off ?
Please don't PM me for plant advice.. thanks .. Post in the forum where I will gladly help, as will many of our contributors.. as the info and responses will help everyone else, which is why we exist
According to my copy of Peter N. Grimshaw's 'The Amazing Story of Excavators volume 1' in 1972 Ford acquired a controlling interest in Richier and reduced the Product range and sold the Richier products under the Ford name until they sold the manufacturing operation to Sambron S.A. In 1979.
