Well Guys as I said in my introduction I run A Menzi Muck for what I hope will be a living
Well the story started in April 2014 with the purchase of a 2010 Menzi A91 4 wd with just 550 Hrs on the first thing of note is if you want to be the ultimate Mountain man you buy a 2wd machine not a 4 wd but for my type of work with lots of moving round the 4 wheel drive suits my needs for those who have never seen a Menzi each wheel is on a leg that can be placed almost anywhere in a 6 meter square and you can lift your self high enough to work in 1.8 meters of water the other trick bit of kit I have on it is the optional Power Line pump that can supply 190 litres of oil at 350 Bar to run Hydraulic attachments no matter what the rest of the machine is doing great on the mulcher in fact I have recently taken delivery of an FAE fixed tooth mulcher and cant wait to set it loose when I get enough posts I will put some pictures of what I do Up

You can do that now fella and we'd love to see 'em ... I had considered part of my retiral plan was to buy a specialised machine and rent my self out for some 'relaxation' in a remote area of Scotland .. I think old plant men would struggle to let go of some levers
Please don't PM me for plant advice.. thanks .. Post in the forum where I will gladly help, as will many of our contributors.. as the info and responses will help everyone else, which is why we exist

meant to say .. I'm amazed that the design gets all the engine and hydraulics in a small space .. I'm guessing the idea is to have the weight centralised to allow the operator better balance control. Its not designed like that just to have a short radius I mean ? Yet ? .. that boom looks a right heavy bit of gear

Yeh but it has the capacity to put down a 6m x 6m footprint Muz IIRC - to be able to work within your own footprint, would make it virtually impossible to destabilize it

I see Sean's machine at the APF forestry show & had a chat with him ( really nice bloke) he let me sit in it & just looking at the joy sticks is a headache with lots of 4 way buttons ontop of the joysticks & I think 4 pedels on the floor, it's like rubbing your stomach & patting your head to pilot a menzi. They are the ultimate tool carrier with so much hydraulic flow & stability.

Yeah Sean's a 'dude' alright ....... saved me a trip to the Isle of Man, when I was duck hunting, with a couple of pix of how the machine I was considering, got treated

That was the end of my interest!!!!!
