Hi all,
I have an old Takeuchi TB15, probably around 30 years old and the final drive ceased on me after only having it for about 30 hrs! I have removed the cover cap, top planetary gears and drive gear etc and cleaned out all the dirt and congealed oil etc which has in turn unceased it. I am now needing to replace the floating or face seal and was wondering if anybody has done this before and do I need to keep working/disassembling from the gear side of the final drive or is it better or easier to remove the hydraulic side to get access to the floating seal for replacement.
