I was thinking it was some colossal crawler, not that humongous dump truck

That sure was some truck eh?
      Gra
Aye she sure is and only one ever built, it wasn't until the late '90's that Cat had come out with a heavier rated hauler the 797 rated at 360 ton's when it first came out. And I think it has been uprated now to around 380 tons.

Probably has enough capacity to feed the Chinese army for a few days I would think.

Now there's a 'blast from the past' Muz
If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!

This'll run straight off a genny +ve feed Muz

                  here's a brand new one

                  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TECFEED-35...item19ff2a9090

and here's one that'll take 15 kg rolls (or 5 kgs)

                  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/F40i-INLIN...item19ffbc2f72

T'other's are only 5kg roll capacities

                  Just add a gas bottle!!!

Oh! and a bit of practice

It's a genny powered wire feed unit Muz.
Plug it into your genny and put the trigger wire on the earth clamp (or the job) and weld away - oh an' don't forget to add a whiff of Argoshield/Cougarshield for the weld shield gas.

I've got the Hobart Hefty - the original designers of these units and they're an awesome way of creating a MIG unit for use anywhere

I've done more stick welding to buckets than I'd care to recall, but the MIG on bucket repair is just awesome!

                      I'll find you some pix
