    Job Description


    OMG's Roofing Products division delivers products and services that improve contractor productivity and enhance roofing system performance. Reporting to the Europe Market Manager, the Territory Manager will generate sales for OMG in the United Kingdom by promoting the productivity and quality of these products to commercial roofing contractors and other key customers

    Responsibilities of the role include:
    • Achieve and exceed targets in accordance with all company procedures.
    • Prospecting - identify sales opportunities and potential customers.
    • Generate and qualify leads from a variety of sources.
    • Promote Safety as the Number 1 Priority of all OMG employees.
    • Develop strong business relationships with customers and peers across the business
    • Communicate clearly with Sales, Marketing and Distribution teams regarding daily logistics and customer needs.
    • Territory development and management - fully understand the current and potential customer base. Plan activity to maximise time prospecting and meeting customers.
    • Monitor competitor activity, market conditions and product development, reporting/escalating key activity, developments and issues as necessary.
    • Monitor achievement of targets, KPI's and goals and identify training needs.
    • Undertake regular training and research to ensure high performance levels are maintained.


    The Successful Applicant


    The successful Territory Manager will:

    • Have a proven track record of overachieving sales targets within the construction sector.
    • Be comfortable travelling and working on site, as well as being able to give product demonstrations and presentations.
    • Be able to work at height and be physically fit enough to cope with the demands of gaining access to roofs, which could be via ladders at 60+ feet.
    • Valid driving license and the ability to operate the Company vehicle provided.
    • Ability to prioritise work assignments, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
    • Tool dexterity and mechanical ability.
    • Develops strong business relationships founded upon trust, delivery of promises, and a comprehensive understanding of customer requirement.
    • Confident, tolerant, determined, resilient.
    • Analyses issues, identifies and implements solutions.
    • Self-motivated, self-managing and results driven.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
    • PC skills including experience with MS Office Suite (Excel).
    • Positive attitude, good judgement and excellent time management skills.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership!
