Useful iPhone/android apps

Installed this the other day for 59 pence ! for speed camera detection ... wow what an app .. I threw away my road pilot ages ago, and then my road angel as they all wanted major subscriptions annually .. this one probably does too if you want the latest database, but even the free one seems perfect to me, having used it driving south from Aberdeen today.. bloody brilliant in fact

You'll need to get a swan neck to hold the phone for best results IMO

I have inbuilt sat navs in all my motors, and I know you can add cameras as poi's, but ive found the iphone quite handy for some places that the garmin /tele atlas stuff cant find because of google maps

App thread

Had a quick look but wasn't able to find an App thread but that means diddly as muggins here walked past spec savers twice yesterday while looking for the place,Anyhow what are your favorite

1. Work app
2. gaming app
3. general useful app.

I have used Memento (free) which allow you to record an item (I used it for manholes) their location (GPS coordinates), a picture, description. and the whole lot can be down loaded to excel and printed off.

I see there is a snagging app coming on line for I phones but not for android just yet and costs £2.99stg which may be of use for some.
