I read this story about electrical transormers blowing up in Ft. Worth, Texas the other day. Included is footage fo the event. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_local...g-in-fort-worth I wonder what caused the chain reaction? Everytime I have seen a transformer go, it is an isolated event. This one seems to keep feedin back and forth across the grid. What happened to the fuses that are usually in-line? I guess, "Who cares? It's cool to watch!"

I was just thinking huh .. just looks like a coordinated display .. then I read the comments below the vid which pretty much said the same .. so if it wasnt .. how come the place didnt go up in smoke ?

Hi Bruce , Like you said ,Cool to watch , But me thinks it a bit strange . He was videoing lightening .but did not see any . If transformers are blowing up in a substation , Why isn't the lights going out in the area around it . ???????.Comment
