The old International single axle? I'm not really sure the registration shouldn't be that much but we have a different vehicle registration and insurance system here in Manitoba different than any other province that I know of. It might only be a few hundred bucks but the insurance could be that much for a year. But with older vehicles like that maybe even less. That truck however was in piss poor shape I'm afraid Ian it would take a lot of patience and time to restore the old girl. Usually old machines and vehicles end up in that yard for a good reason and it's not because they are in top running order. lol

Yeah most of the stuff is only good for parts or going to the shredder as we say here, but once in a while they get some decent stuff like that D2 or even those Bobcat backhoe attachments, they looked to be in good shape, there was also a decent looking 939 track loader with no ROPS or cab under a tarp waiting for a new loving home. And if anybody ever needs a bucket man they have lots probably hundreds of them. I've got some more pictures from their out of town location, they use to have an 80 acre yard just packed full of bigger iron but apparently a few years ago a guy from Chile bought a whole bunch of it, 500 tonnes worth. He spent $70,000 worth of Oxyacetylene gas and supplies (torch bits) cut it up and put it into 53' sea containers and had to shipped to China and India where it was sold as scrap. I guess he hired lots of local labour and equipment and some of those people never got paid. So when I went there the other day the yard was pretty empty but there was some interesting stuff to see.

[QUOTE=245dlc;4841]Here's a few pictures the big snowplows are mostly OshKosh and the ones with the more rounded body panels are made by a French-Canadian company called Sicard which I don't think is around anymore.
