Years ago someone gave me a 200 litre barrel of coconut oil, I mixed it about 50/50 with diesel and used it in my Santana LandRover. It smelled as if I was running the truck on Malibu liqueur

Malibu is the only beverage that caused me to throw up as a young man .. maybe cos I had too much just sayin .. and I love the coconuts RedLiner .. if booze is that cheap ..... just chuck anything from your drinks cabinet in the tank I'm sure everything will run as sweet as a nut

Every year me and the "missus" spend a few weeks in the Dominican Republic (La Romana) SCUBA diving and fishing. The most disgusting thing to me are the fresh coconuts with rum added and a straw to suck up this awful liquid.

Yuk!!!!! This mixture would seize any diesel engine

Hahaha! Same here, albeit now days it's spiced rum .
I think our biodiesel is derived from natural oils/fats, not entirely sure though. Caused a nightmare with fuel injection on the RRV awe have quite recently, enzymes had decided to eat away at the tank lining thus sending it all through the filters then stalling the engine.
ended up doing a complete drain/clean/flush of the entire fuel system.
When I dropped the fuel tank drain bolt, a slug like mass of enzyme based goop fell out, made me feckin cringe

Me and the missus go to the Dominican Republic twice a year and that spiced rum is the local drink
We usually go to La Romana for big game fishing and SCUBA diving.
As fluent Spanish speakers, at least we know when we are being insulted
