The bonnet strut failed so I took the number off it and sourced a replacement from Industrial Gas Springs, South London, as was marked on the unit , as I couldn't find anything else online
Their quote came back at an eye watering £264.54 plus £19.70 post/packing

So a quick hop online to a specialist gas strut company www.eckold.co.uk spoke to a very helpful chap called Dave who help me spec up a matched or as close to as possible unit ...£56.76 total.. fitted and works perfectly.gif "thumbs up")
