Hi all,
I have an old 3 ton Thwaites dumper that I've owned for a couple of years and the brakes are sticking.
As soon as I dip the clutch it stops, not exactly screeching to a halt but it's definitely braking by itself. I lifted the rear of the dumper up today and was able to spin the wheels easily (the other wheel turned in the opposite direction, is that due to the differential?)
However, I couldn't move the front wheels when the front end was lifted up. One of them seemed to be 'in gear' and the other one felt like the brake was 75% on if that makes sense.
Any ideas on where I could start looking would be great if possible...
