Hi, I have a IHI16N mini digger with hydraulic problem. Are all the bits in these things the same? I can't believe IHI make one for themselves, does anyone know who the maker of the valve block are?

reasonably correct Steve .... a lot of manufacturers use 'generic components' ..... my 15 tonner is mostly Rexroth hydraulics .... what is your problem, specifically ??Originally posted by IHI mini View Post

I would add that some of the bigger makes do design some of their own stuff because in the smaller machines space is at a premium, and sometimes they will split spool sections up for example, which may require them to modify or make their own stuff, but mostly as Graham says they are made by specialist manufacturers, Kubota for example out source a lot of theirs using the likes of Kayaba, which is a sort of Jap version of Rexroth
