Kubota ID plate

So gents seen as your all so very knowledgeable and helpful in all things diggers I have another question:

The little aluminium id plate was not attached when I purchased the machine and I have misplaced the paperwork, so on that note can someone tell me where I will find the serial number, will it be on the chassis/engine block and what do the numbers denote.

Its stamped on the king post either on top or to the top side of it .. most dealers just use the last five numbers for parts referencing
