Simply qustion nothing mucky! Who likes having a steering knob on the steering wheel? I don't have one on the JD but was thinking of getting one but ate the same time not sure if I would use it! Do any of you guys have a steering knob and can't live without it or never use it?

On Loader work It should be good .Have not done much tractor driving,With anything that had good power steering anyway ,to be able to comment on that type of application . -
I can reverse trailers much faster with one
and handy when using a front loader too .gif "thumbs up")
other than that Im not bothered. They are pretty handy on a dumper too, or anything where the other had needs to be working valves/controls whilst rolling

Matter of choice really back in the last century when I was flailing hedgerows I had one always, but at trailer work it was a pita due to my expanded mid section, on the rubber tyred Massey digger it was a god send................
On some of the IH,Ford and JD I found the steering wheel drift with the knob challenging..................A driven man with a burning passion.

I know what you mean about the steering wheel drift and I have been looking at the badge position in the centre of my steering wheel and a steering knob would be all over the shop! So think. Will go without!Originally posted by Stock View PostComment

I've always liked them on wheel loaders and backhoe loaders, I don't drive enough ag tractor to say whether or not I'd want one in that application. Sometimes when I'm driving truck and maneuvering in tight places I wish I had one.Comment
